I don’t understand how EDC screwed. Both parties have 50% agency in the matter.

For a player like Zay, it’s advantageous for Zay to want stall contract negotiations like Linderbaum.

if the Ravens offered him 20+ mill per last offseason he would’ve resigned but they didn’t

im not even mad at them about the Linderbaum situation cause y’all know I always thought he was overrated af but they they definitely dragged their on extending him and the price kept going up

same is gonna happen with Zay if they don’t extend him now

If Bain, Bailey, Vega, Mauigoa, Tate are gone and we can’t trade back…Mansoor Delane is a solid pick @ 14

taking another DB in round 1 when your team is subpar in the trenches on both sides of the ball is horrible roster building

plus I’m just not high on Delane in general

he reminds me Marlon in the sense that I think he’ll be better playing the nickel then he would be playing outside

he’s gonna get cooked a lot playing outside because of his speed

Although I’m biased towards the players, I always try to remain objective.

It takes two to get a deal done.
Zay could be betting on himself and stalling.

We simply don’t know. I don’t want fans to stress out or get upset about a situation they simply are not privy too.

Let things be. Both sides are playing chess.
It’s the same with fans shytting on Lamar in regard to his extension.

It feels to me like it's become something of an echo chamber with Ioane, especially with almost everyone mocking him to us. Like it's him or bust. I don't know...14 seems kinda rich for a guard, especially when there's quality to be had in R2-3 this year.

If we're going OL there, I'd prefer Fano if he's available. He's obviously versatile and has tons of upside.

But we've done exactly what the majority of mocks have predicted these last few years (Nate/Starks/Lindy/Zay et al) so I'm ready for it to be Ioane.

And even if I disagree with your assessment of EDC, I appreciate your take and insight. It does keep things level when you have someone presenting the other side. And I do agree that at this point Zay will probably stall EDC out until he gets a number he likes which is why I wish we could have did something early last season. Either way, I'm ready for the season to start and to see this team look like a contender again

I dont like Fano either

honestly if Ioane is gone I would prefer we trade down

I actually like more guys who are projected to go in the 20s then the ones I see projected to go in our range

Ioane is the probably the only pick I'd love at 14

I would also love Bain or Tyson but I dont think either will be there at 14

I wouldnt hate taking Sadiq but I'd prefer oline,pass rusher, or WR in the 1st round

only pick that would really piss me off is taking a DB

I would prefer a tackle over a guard but I dont like the tackles projected in the top 15

I think Fano is gonna be a bust and Freeling looks average to me

I would rather take the guard who I believe can be an allpro
