Knowledge is important, but knowledge doesn't necessarily means you have to read a lot of books. Life experience and hard work is more important than books, you can read all you want but if you have zero experience in life and doesn't know how to applied what you learn in real life, it doesn't means anything. I know a lot of cats who like to think they're smart just because they read, but they can't do shyt in reality. I'm not against people who read, but reading itself is overrated, with technology, internet, you have access to a lot of info, you just have to be diligent.

Choice of books matter anyway. Chicks reading Steve Harvey and romance novels.... gahbage.

I read 50 something books two years ago but it was mostly sci-fi and fantasy

Read 15-18 books last year, mostly business, investing and history books

Read 10 books so far this year, mostly business, investing, finance and history

I listen to audiobooks, it's more effective for retaining the information.
