The Awkward, Black Boy Nerd and Why He Deserves a Chance

Okay, I'm on Broome Street trying to get into Jersey. You have a couple, they are in a romantic relationship. One is a black guy who is the nerdy geeky type and the girl is non-black/non-white. If I saw 100 of these couples, how many of the men will be the nerdy geeky types?

I'd say about 40% or so. They’re more prevalent in park slope and prospect heights in bk. There i'd say it's more like 60%

Not many...

However, geeky black men are more common than geeky black women. These types of men will have a hard time finding women who share their interests. Black women only become interested when they find out the guy is dating women of other races.

I think some women (won't say all) have been under the believe that they have the magic crotch. That once the thug gets a taste, he'll be helping old ladies across the street, feeding puppy dogs, planting flowers and giving toys to orphans. Some people are actually that silly. Of course, it's not all women. Many of them know to avoid these dudes.

Some of them think it's cool to be with these guys and that someone's going to be there to pick up the pieces because they hear folks like Deb Cooper and they think that they can do that. Truth be told, the older generation should be there to warn folks (men and women) about f'n up their future.

They sound a tad narcissistic.

it's what I've experienced in my life and also what I've observed in the lives of others. Maybe I just know a lot of mentally ill, low self esteemed ass women. Either way, you exploit what you can to your advantage

I never understood the whole "im a black nerd and black women don't want me" mentality. I was 100% a black nerd growing up and plenty of black women wanted me. Guys like this just want the instatot types and since those specific type of black women don't want them they then blame all black women in general and use that as justification for "Pawging". Even though those instathot types exist among every race.

I feel like black girl nerds are rarer than dark lighting. Though also may have it harder depending on their bent. If they like thugs and I know a number of them who did back in the day, they're okay. But if they're genuinely looking for a match shyt must be hard for them because men do the approaching. The only thing they can do is be more aggressive, and I've known them to do that too.

Black nerds are not sincere when they bash black women, when they would struggle with a Spanish chick or a European chick just the same.

And this chick is a solid 6, and she is shallow and superficial. Now she trying to breakdown and share her thoughts about this dynamic with cliches like she is a modern day Plato. She will find a black nerd, but it will be for the same reason all washed up women do, he is their safety net fall back plan.
