Truth Rock was going around saying Wrestling didn't make him and he distance himself from wrestling, then WWE let the dogs loose on his ass, he was talked about bad by Wrestlers and The fan's started to shyt on Rock, then Rock was on you tube talking shyt about Cena because Cena was ripping him a new one for acting like wrestling didn't give the platform to succeed in Hollywood, then he came crawling back went on Raw saying it was the fans and wrestling that helped get to where he was at
Not even remotely close to what happened. Rock never shat on the WWE like that. He was low-key and trying to make his own lane but he never discredited the business and how it helped him. There was a YouTube video that showed many instances of him bigging up the business while he was away.

WWE and Cena just selfishly wanted the guy back in the business. All parties involved have since admitted this

If that's the truth then you should be able to provide some evidence of said comments.

Also it should noted that WWE allowed Rock's contract to expire. He was still willing to work with them but they just let his contract lapse for no apparent reason. Vince tried to call and smooth shyt over but Rock wasn't trying to hear it.

Right. Rock was never putting down the WWE. He just moved low key. Said he was retired and didn't see himself returning. But loved everything about the business and thanked it. He opened up about his former team and advisors were trying to push that distance from the WWE on him but he never fully agreed to that which is why he never did it and eventually fired his team and started over.

Also WWE and Rock had a strained relationship from 2005 to 2007 and they weren't allowing him to go by his Rock moniker. Rock had noted that they had a verbal dual ownership of the name up until that time period they fell off. They patched things up and Rock went on to promote the battle of the billionaires and film some scenes for their wrestling families DVD.

Then it lead to him doing the hall of fame in 2008, the smack down promo in 2009 that was going to lead to him guest hosting RAW in 2010. But that turned into his 2011 return.

Nope, Rock's movie career took off after his came back @ WM27 and used his old fanbase to put a boost into his box office drawing power.

Because let's be real.

Wrestlemnia 27 - April 3 2011, lets break down his career before this show then after

The Scorpion King 2002 - 90.4 mil, his first starring role
The Rundown 2003 - 47m
Walking Tall 2004 - 45m
Be Cool - 2005 56m
Doom 2005- 28m
Gridiron Gang 2006- 38m
Southland Tales - 0.3m 2007
The Game Plan 90m- 90m
Get Smart - 2008 130m (Steve Carrel carryjob)
Race to Witch Mountain 2009 -67m
Planet 51 - 2009 42m
Tooth Fairy - 2010 58m
The Other Guys 2010 110m (Will Ferrel, Wahlberg carryjob)
Faster 2010 23m
FAST FIVE APRIL 29 2011, coming out 3 weeks after WM27 his biggest hit ever that he was the star of, completely boosted by the WM27 hype and cross promotion)

8 of his next 11 movies made more than 100m, with a few making over 200m and one over 300m.

Let's be reality, he was a B- level attraction at the Box office, then he came crawling back home to Vince McMahon. And like before, Vince was able to help Rock get into the stratosphere.

He tried distancing himself from pro wrestling, only to come crawling back when he needed the support.

Vince and the WWE in general have been bending over for the Rock since like 2000, what are you talking about :dead::dead:??? Between The Rock and Vince/WWE, THE ROCK is the one that needs the support???? :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:
