The Buss family doesn’t have a lot of assets outside of the Lakers.

It's pretty much like the Rooney family in the NFL. Yeah, they are rich, but by NFL owner standards, they are on the lower end and most of their wealth is tied to the team. If they were to ever sell, that would quickly change.

Magic will probably buy a piece of the team from Walter after the transaction

Walter and Magic are friends :ohhh:

Pelinka you better pack yo bags :umad:
I was gonna say Magic played the long game on Pelinka. :pjlol:

He better not fire him though. Magic was godawful when he was running things; Pelinka's been good.

So this means the Lakers can finally spend money???

Unlike under Jeanie Buss

I dont even know what this means. Walter buying us gets rid of the salary cap?

Y'all swear we had bottom tier payrolls all these years or something.

If anything this change means we'll get more efficient and better decision making. It doesn't mean the payroll is gonna double.
