Reverse thought process my guy..New owner syndrome, they'll probably trade LeBron or some shyt
That don't mean shyt with this new Hard cap and 2nd ApronLakers fans should be happy. This guy spends a shyt ton of money as the Dodgers owner.

100% this. They saw the $6.1 Billion the Celtics sold for and said “yeap time to cash out and do something else.” A lot of times when the old man goes and the fortune has to be split up(Jerry Buss had 7 children) some people don’t want their inheritance tied up to a business they’re not 100% involved with.
These owners aren't broke. Yeah certain ones are way above the next in net worth, but these dudes are far from broke. Parity is also here because the superstar era is over with once Bron, Curry, KD, and company hang it up. They'll be stars but all that superstar/face of the league shyt is pretty much over with. The league is pivoting to parity and team play because ain't no Jordan's, Kobe's, Bron's, or Curry's walkin' through that door. The Lakers needed big spending ownership 6-7 years ago. This is a different NBA now. They've eliminated the deep pocket shyt.Thats because there were more broke owners than rich owners. The parity shyt was a welcome side effect and easy justification. The other owners didn't like how Balmver and Lacob were spending.
Reverse thought process my guy..
New owner and new money means win now..
Accept all taxes, etc
Over pay for everything around Luka and LeBron..

Yup.Old owners are poor compared to new owners. Their kids are going to sell to cash in.
Would Jordan selling be tossed into that pile too?
Although if you believe rumors there were other stuff attached to Jordan/Cuban selling. There was some random rumor that Jordan had a gambling debt. With Cuban there was something about the ppl he sold it too, some casino folks, possibly helping Cuban bring gambling/casino to texas or helping Cuban get a foothold in LV or some random shyt like that.
shyt, some shyt with the Suns may be up if there is truth to the rumors that Ishbia may be playing with monopoly money.I believe the gambling shyt about Jordan, that's why I left him out, but even if the Adelson's could get Cuban gambling to Texas it'd be insane to sell his entire team on the hopes of something potentially happening going forward. You don't sell your team for a handshake deal.
I'm not sure the old owners think that can live up to this new TV contract....OH! I forgot about the Celtics owner selling too! That's three MAJOR market teams being sold, two of them are legendary franchises, before the TV deal really kicking in is nuts to me. If it comes out that Dolan is selling the Knicks too then something fukked up is happening that no one is talking about.
