Did Ye throw some subs at Jay on his last album or what? Why is he dedicating a whole song (of subs) to Ye? I thought they cooled that shyt off.

And Pusha is tacky for that tweet. Whether "Friends" was good and/or true, you don't comment on that shyt. The dude Jay is shytting on just laced you with what people are considering album of the year. There was a whole other song (of subs) directed at the nikka you just beat in a beef. Plenty of material to Tweet about.

I find it odd that Jay would come at Ye so hard over this old shyt right after one of Ye's employees knocked the nikka that's been a thorn in your side all the way back to 2011.

Jay over here picking on Drake's corpse and mushing Kanye in the face right in the middle of his Summer momentum and indirectly fukked up Nas's release date. As someone said earlier; Camel moves.

That said his verse on Ape shyt was good. Not classic Jay because he just raps about the same shyt now but the flow and pen are still there. If you're going to repackage the same shyt make it sound good......that shyt was GREAT.

Trap music introduced (or made popular) the triple time hi hat to modern music, doesn't mean everything that uses the triple time hi hat is "trap music."

That simple element works with all types of music, which is why you hear it used in just about every "genre" of music today.

Drummers rolling their sticks has always been popular with HBCU marching bands and even going back to jazz drummers like Elvin Hayes.

It's just some fly shyt to do to show how nice you are with the sticks.

Southern producers added that element to their production because they knew it worked.

I really don't think we'll see a time where producers go back to just hitting the hi hat once, so nikkas might as well get used to it and learn to appreciate all the other elements in the music.

Now I understand why that "Meant to Be" song was such a huge hit.
