While I absolutely loved this album, we need to talk about why Jay Z now has a curfew.

If you listened to lovehappy he explains about having a LA curfew and having their will be redone by Beyonce herself.

I understand he cheated and all but that seems kind of harsh.

He's not talking about having a curfew.

"No more clubs and Cali-curfews" refers to the fact that last call in California is (by law) like midnight or 1 am compared to the rest of the country/world. So he's talking about no longer doing clubs and staying out until last call in LA.

Some lawmakers were recently tryna pass a bill to extend California bar/club curfew to 4am but I think it failed.
