Great production, but I'm not trying to listen to 9 tracks of these people talking about how awesome and mighty they are more than once

This is a cool album to throw on when with ya significant other. Like its just u 2 smoking a blunt or its just u 2 in the car on the way to six flags.

Lets just appreciate for a moment that Shawn muthafukking Carter is FORTY EIGHT YEARS OLD and STILL rapping his ass off in 2018. Thats in-fukking-CREDIBLE:damn:

I mean seriously brehs he and Nas are both the greatest stories in Hip Hop PERIOD. There’s nobody else thats done it this long on such a high level.

Aubrey and ALL his ghostwriters ain’t gonna be putting out heat in their forties. Guaranteed.

Eminem is already washed up.

DMX bowed out due to drugs:mjcry:

Wu-Tang had an unsustainable run simply due to the different personalities and fractions within the group:mjcry:

Outkast basically broke up:mjcry:

Lauryn Hill lost her mind:mjcry:

Common is still a dangerous MC with the pen, but his mainstream music career is essentially done

Its just Nas and Jay. These nikkas are Titans

I was just as impressed of black thought emceeing on the 9th collab.
Maybe even more than Jay and Nas. Thought sound famished.

Back in 2003 on the "Black Album" Hov said the following

"Truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense
But I did 5 mill' – I ain't been rhyming like Common since
When your cents got that much in common
And you been hustling since your inception
fukk perception! Go with what makes sense
Since I know what I'm up against
We as rappers must decide what's most important
And I can't help the poor if I'm one of them
So I got rich and gave back, to me that's the win/win

"

15 years later on this album he "rhymed like Common Sense" twice

On 713 he says

"I never knew a luh, luh, love like this,
gotta be special for me to write this" (which is a Common line from "The Light")

On LoveHappy he says

"Y'all know how I met her
We broke up and got back together
To get her back I had to sweat her" (which is a Common line from Erykah Badus "Love Of My Life")

fukk y'all. Crown this nikka. GOAT.
Also... look at 4:44. Hov dropped a whole album in the same vein as what we've BEEN getting from Common his entire career.

I'm starting to really realize how much of a Common stan Hov is in the last few years.
:ohhh:
