I don't believe it's a coincidence that 98% of the running backs in the NFL are Black. But back to the topic, If feel as a White rapper you should be doper than 98% of the Blacks that's out like I felt Eminem was. It's like the Jackie Robinson situation, they just didn't let any Blacks in baseball initially they only let the best of the best in.
Jamaicans, African Americans etc.... ancestors comes from West Africa. nikkas like Andre Igoudala, Pops Mensah Bonsu etc that aren't descendants of slaves are athletic as fukk. It has nothing to do with water in the ghetto or slave breeding. If there was an emphasis on sports in west African countries like it is in the Americas, you would see more Olympic talent. I agree. That's why all marathon winners are usually of African descent. That's a gift we have. If treachery, ruthlessness and deceit was something we were naturally engrained with then we would be running the world. That's not a gift we were born with. Living in America you could be corrupted with those "gifts" but we don't have them naturally.

i only skimmed the first page of this thread and smmfh. maybe its my white privelage that has me wondering why shyt cant be chalked up as execs see a market for these wack rappers. just because i listen to macklemore doesnt take away from the fact that my itunes is still 88% black. wack rappers will perish with a quickness regardless of race. besides, if youre really into good hip hop you arent looking for it on MTV or BET anymore. the shyts all over this internet machine
they're relating it to past music genres, which were predominately black and now predominately white. So they assume HipHop will end up the same way.. It's probably like Indians who don't like white people doing/teaching Yoga etc... It's why white people have been called culture vultures or parasites.. in many cultures around the world. Imagine black people trying to do Indian music, you don't think Indians would be pissed off?

I'll listen to anyone whatever the race. The only reason this is an issue is because of history. In 40 years, Hip Hop may be like Rock & Roll. The music content might not have diminished but it will be a white face on an originally black art form and some people are simply pointing that out..
