Willis, who had years of

19/12
18/16
18/13
17/11
16/11

wouldn't start for the Hawks?

And he wasn't even a star then, but put up quality numbers. Sh!t he'd bang with Dwight til Dwight didn't want to guard him.

Moses would put up 40 & 17...realistically.

Noah and Horford are special? Neither of them are better than Willis, I don't understand why you have such a problem accepting the fact that centers from previous eras actually are better.

He would have a shot at being the best center in the league today, and that isn't even a joke. It's not hard to see that perimeter play is better today, but the 5s couldn't hold a candle to the ones 20 years ago.
:mindblown:
I watched them live and in person. I even use them in comparison to today's prospect.

You have no clue what you are talking about. I watched all these players play. I feel I have an opinion to say the least on this.

You don't take into account the teams they played on, the pace, :mindblown:

Noah does all the little things that don't show up on stat sheets. I would take him over many centers in today's game and over some in the 90's as well. Clearly not the elite ones tho.

Anyone who watched centers from the 90s knows they are better, you're one of the few people I've ever seen argue that they aren't.

Kevin Willis is better than Horford, lets be real here, he's a PF playing out of position. And while I like Noah, he's extremely limited offensively. It's funny you feel Dwight could have been such a great, yet Willis literally had a game that resembles Dwights.

J. Noah isn't an very talented or skilled player. Noah is like a Dennis Rodman without the attitude but with more leadership. That>>>Willis who is mainly and scrappy player and a banger.

Al Horford is much better than Willis. Much better, not even close better. Willis is an elite rebounder and low post scorer but that's it. Like that's it. That's the only thing he's elite at. Horford has a higher rate near the basket plus he has superior movement, defense, and BBIQ. Breh, do you even watch these Hawks and did you even watch those Hawks?

Give me Kevin Willis over Noah, Kevin was able to play Hakeem about as well as you could ever ask someone, who does Noah have to go against on that level?

Hakeems numbers vs Willis
19.8ppg 11.2rpg 49% FG

Kevin's numbers vs Hakeem
13.5ppg 10.2rpg 48%

Noah could never do that kind of job against Hakeem, ever.

A lot of hyperbole, so let me get this straight in a league devoid of low post scorers you'd take Horford over someone you define as a elite rebounder and low post scorer? This is the same dude that couldn't even guard Dwight's bum ass man to man, while I'm sure Kevin would have gave D12 the blues.

I watched the Hawks then, and I watch the Hawks now, you keep saying you watched these dudes, but at the same time you said Dwight Howard is better than David Robinson. When it comes to evaluating big men, anyone picking Dwight over David would lose their job, maybe even their soul.

He's gotta be trolling, saying Willis wouldn't start today and I think something about Hibbert being an all-star in the 90s :mindblown:

yeah, kevin willis was an 18 and 10 nikka on the low in an era where the pf and C position was probably the best it ever was

John "Hot Rod" Williams.. Loved Hot Rod but Noah all day.
Shawn Bradley
Sean Rooks

Brian Williams
Laimbeer
Mark West
Oliver Miller
Webber
Rony Seikaly
Olajuwon
Smits
Dale Davis
Antonio Davis.. I liked Antonio. He was a skilled big
Stanley Roberts... lol

:snoop: You using stats like Al Jefferson ain't putting up better numbers than most PF's in today's game. It ain't all about points when you watch the games and see their skill-set.

Dwight Howard was a better player to me a year ago than Robinson. He is not the same player clearly. You can have scoring. Give me elite athletic ability, elite defensive BBIQ, and anchor skills as well as decent offensive skills and I'm gucci. Clearly Dwight isn't that anymore after the back injury. I would also take Bill Russell over Nate Thurmond. Do you have a problem with that? I would take Russell over Elvin Hayes, do you have a problem with that?

You keep trying to dismerit me but the point remains the same for the question at that time. Clearly Dwight this year is a shell of himself in Orlando.

Al Jefferson breh

 He done it before. Is he better than Noah?

@Malta, going by PER, VC>Larry Bird. You gonna tell me VC is better than Bird? You gonna tell me VC is better than Reggie Miller? Stats are pointless if you don't know what you are talking about.
