True. I think if Cardall doesnt make the two costly mistakes early which resulted in 14 points for Bama and that god awful defense that was played in the closing minutes of the game by the secondary then this game is a lot less close than the score indicated.

FSU definitely belonged. If you analyzed the bowl participants, Notre Dame, Clemson, and Georgia tech all were impressive in their victories. All were beaten by FSU. Throw in Miami, Fla, Florida, Maryland, Duke, North Carolina, and at the end, FSU played a quality schedule. TCU, while very impressive, cannot escape the Baylor loss, so on that premise, was more deserving than TCU. Cant say that much for BAMA and the quality of their wins but for arguments sakes perhaps they shouldnt have been ranked #1.

Using that logic (bowl games are the pantheon), BAMA def should have been out. IMO it just supports the argument for at least a six team playoff, given the fact that both alabama and Florida St aren't that much better than tcu/baylor.

OSU was the better team all night breh.

It was frustating to me when we didn't run away with it cause at no point in the game did OSU NOT have more rushing and throwing yardage and dominate time of possesion. (Elliot had over a hundred yards early in the second quater NO OTHER RB had over 100 against Bama all season)

Honestly our early fukk ups ( not scoring on long plays and in the red zone, fumbilng on Bama side of the field ) is what made it a game.

The Buckeyes were the better team.

this just proves it needs to be 8. can't dismiss teams and use bullshyt "expert" opinions to pick 4 teams. each P5 champ and the G5 champ plus 2 at larges. that's the only fair way to do it. the committee didn't even want to rank a G5 team until the last week and boise proved they belong. TCU could just as easily be playing in the championship game if the experts on the committee decided they were better than ohio state.
ain't trying to watch 4 late ass games lol

I see a lot of people in here championing the "student" excuse for not expanding the playoffs dont realize that FCS schools have a 24 team playoff. And these are kids that actually have to take their academics seriously. The FCS champion has to play 15 games in order to win that title. Going to an 8 team playoff at the highest level would put them at 15 games a season as well.
Pretty much...

This shyt all comes down to money...I honestly don't think these big D1 schools want to have to play 15 games to win the title just for the fact their chances of winning go down...they have all the power when it comes to this no?

The only time yall stopped us early was in the Red Zone breh...which was our fault.

Elliot RAPED YOU NIKKAS ALL GAME.

Had he not fumbled early on yalls side of the field it woulda been a COMPLETLY different game.

Yall nikkaz never at any point had more yardage on the ground or throwing..... yall had DUMMY POINTS.

Which is why I knew it wouldn't hold up.

Alabama led 21-20 at halftime, but the yardage total told a completely different story. Ohio State outgained Alabama 348 yards to 139 in the first half, with that 209-yard differential representing the greatest disparity the Tide have ever faced in a first half under Saban.

Bama surrendered an enormous yardage total (537 yards) and completely got away from the staples of Saban's best seasons in Tuscaloosa.

Had OSU not made costly early mistakes the game would not have been that close.

Im not saying OSU were not better, hell i picked em to win when then matchup was first announced, but people gotta chill as if Bama didnt show up to play and looked like Ole Miss vs TCU
