The Warriors ESCAPED a 7-game series with the up and coming Kings.

The champions have home court advantage in this series on their quest to repeat.

On Tuesday, they start a series against a familiar foe in LeBron James and his reconfigured LA Lakers.

LA is coming off their first series win since the Bubble over the loud mouthing Grizzlies. LA has been one of the better teams in the NBA since the trade deadline and a cadre of young players have stepped up to give LeBron and AD the support they have sought.

The last 'postseason' meeting between these clubs was the 2021 Play-In Tournament which was a LAL win.

This is the first playoff series since 1991.
