North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
it comes down to simple math and match ups. The warriors have to recent league mvps in their prime. 4 all stars and another former all star coming off the bench that could still start for a lot of teams. Cleveland has 1 MVP who and a total of 3 all stars. Then all you have to do is look at the match ups.

Curry and Irving are a push.
Thompson trumps Smith by a wide margin.
Durant and Lebron are a push.
Green and Love are a push.

The center position is a push because of the style both teams play.

Warriors have a better bench by a wide margin.

Then there is the upgrades. Cleveland should've lost last year and took an historic comeback and extraordinary contributions in games 5 and 6 fr lebron amd kyrie just to get to a game 7. The warriors added Durant which not only made up for the players they let go but increased their overall production from a consistency standpoint. It also trumped every move Cleveland tried to make. Durant > Korver and Williams.

Lastly, lebron pushed the warriors to 7 games by himself the first time.

He then beat them with 2 other all stars with no finals experience the 2nd time. If golden state wins this series just look at what it took them to do it. Look at the desperation it took for them to feel compelled to bring in a player like Durant. Most of the players on that team and the ownership share a common bond. They're all insecure.

Thread is great but will be bushed by that hating ass mod who momma got fukked by one of Bron homies

The bias is too real. And I didn't even add that Durant had the luxury of not playing hurt or rushing back from injuries for long stretches. The coach didn't even coach for the western conference playoffs amd they didn't lose a game. The warriors were an all time great team as is. You swap Barnes and Bogut for Durant in his prime and it's not even fair.

The irony is how tv networks made it all possible by over paying for tv rights. A superstar can leave and still make over 20 million a year THEN reup for more bread.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I think the downfall for bron is trusting players who don't fit in this league
Thompson had everyone fall for that hype and he got overpaid
He's not that great of a defender, he's only 6'7 but doesn't have he defensive iq, heart, strength, or offensive skills of draymond green. He is useless when he isn't rebounding absolutely useless
Jr smith and his nba 2k fadeaway threes are streaky at best and he is useless when guarding anyone that can dribble with either hand. If hey could combine jr iman as Tristan into one player this wouldn't be so bad

Off the top of my head I think they should have tried to pry a James Johnson, Jae crowder, serge ibaka, Gerald green type of wing or combo wing pf because they were so insistent to become a three point shooting team that surrounds bron and kyrie ISO ball that they allowed this defense that was great with delly and mozgov playing minutes in to Houston rockets east
lebron suffers from the same thing as Jordan.. he doesn't know shyt about talent

he's stuck with kevin love with a max fukking contract and tristian with damn near the same

you know what kind of superstars or 4-5 stars he could have with that money.. he thought he bought his way into 5-6 years of dominance and it looks like it's only going to last 1. they can't even afford to blow them up cause who the hell is taking either of them with those contracts
