He deserves every bit of his contract and just turned 25, if the Blazers wanted him to take on more of an offensive role he could score 15-18ppg.

Deng doesn't deserve a contract lower than anyone on that list IMO or at least the majority - Bulls tried Deng because a) they are cheap and idiots or b) they didn't want him in the first place and wanted to rebuild. No way they thought $10m was his worth even with a home town discount. You build your team around Noah who literally can't shoot and has poor post moves and a PG with two larry holme's knees

I agree man...I like deng but look around at the teams who have cap space.The Bulls would of kept him or got better value if he was high on the market because he seems like he will resign if a team offered him the money he wants which is akin to what iggy got....if deng was a hot commodity they could of gotten a better haul because a team would be glad to pay him 13-14 a year....

i don't expect Deng to get some crazy deal like 16m or whatever, but i highly doubt a team won't give him 12m. The Cavs literally could do it, New York can do it as well, a few other teams i know off top have space (if they let free agents walk).

Do you even watch dude play, considering your track record with that question I'll assume the answer is no, but of course you'll say you watch all Blazer games. The point is you had Batum among a bunch of dudes that don't deserve their contract, and your reasoning seems to be because he averages 13ppg, which just tells me you don't watch him play and don't even understand his value to a team like Portland. Like I said, he deserves every bit of his contract, and he'd probably be a better fit for the Cavs moving forward than Deng, but Bynum's contract and a couple of 2nd rounders won't net you a 25 year old point forward
