The fastest-growing vegan demographic is African Americans. Wu-Tang and other artist paved the way.

When I was 15 I lived with a vegan for three months. First time I seriously thought about killing myself and the last time I took my mother's cooking for granted.
U haitian right? I'm vegan and Haitian and I guarantee you that idea that you can't eat good food or tasty food is a myth. My parents and I cook banging haitian food that's vegan all the time. It's really easy. It's all how you prepare something. I could post pictures of my meals and break the macro's down and I guarantee you it'd be adequate for anyone no matter what(athlete, normal sedentary person, child etc.)

Went vegan 12 years ago and boy my mind is sharp and my energy is always high. People that be needing energy drinks and coffee in the morning while I sit there and shake my head at how dependent people are on stimulants.

For me, hip hop inspired me to go vegan and take it seriously. Jay & Bey, Waka Flocka, the Lox and their juice bar.

But even before them Rastafarians & 7th Day Adventists were a big inspiration to a lot of black people to stop eating meat.

Then I learned about some historical black leaders being plant-based.

I used to be the type who never though Id do it back in high school but I dont wanna end up like my family with heart disease and diabetes. It's not so much that the diseases are inherited, but the eating/health habits that cause it are.

Watch a bunch of uninformed posts about dangers of kale, potatoes, edamame, beans, roasted broccoli and protein gets proliferated in here lol. Never ceases to amaze me how uninformed people are in regards to something as simple as food.

Interesting username to post correlation

Yeah, we Haitian. The folks I was staying with were probably just trash at cooking. Everything they made was bland as shyt. They were religious zealots too. :mjcry:

I just left NY so I was already mad as fukk that I had to deal with low tier pizza.

You may be right though but I'm not interested in trying a vegan diet. That whole experience fukked me up.

yeah they just was trash at cooking. Seasoning food is where it's at. Sea salt! Herbs! spices! Everything even the damn water gotta be seasoned. I'm Haitian so you know they be tasting my food like "oh sa gou wi :pachaha:"

My brother is trash at cooking and I tell him don't offer people food because you will throw them off. Meanwhile I be in the kitchen cooking like Gucci Mane. My spice game is serious. I could make a banging Haitian or Dominican style rice and beans with some air fried plantains, seitan and/or avocado. shyt be :ohlawd:
