It’s essentially a JRPG for those who wouldn’t like JRPG’s normally.

Kinda like what Eminem is to rap, E33 is to that sub genre.

This is probably the most accurate description of the game I've seen. It's a turned based role playing game for disillusioned JRPG players.

It's also less about total strategy and more about timed button presses with visual but mostly audio cues. In many turned based games strategy is very important but in this one if you can figure out the timing of the button presses you can become almost invincible to enemies.
