MLK wasn't killed until he championed the Poor People's Movement, Fred Hampton wasn't killed until he was bringing together poor people of all creeds. Malcolm wasn't killed until after his Hajj and he realized Islam was inclusive.
You can recognize that the situation of multiple peoples is fukked up while still understanding that to solve some of your OWN people issues, you have to by proxy solve the issues of others as well. That is what intersectionality is really about. Its not about choosing one groups rights or battles over your own, its recognizing that if we were to end the scourge of jerrymandering for instance we first have to eliminate the voter illiteracy and political miseducation and big money in politics. NONE of those issues are unique to the black experience, and yet they are integral to our continued oppression.
Breh, all you need to do is look at how this 'inclusiveness' has played out since the civil Rights era

Blacks are the most marginalized group in the US by far. On top of that, they are specifically targeted in a way that other groups of people simply are not. Take on too many causes and your voice is simply drowned out by privileged white homosexuals and women who want marginally improved "rights".
The black cause has been trivialized because some black women and black gays would rather discuss bullshyt identity politics and bogus myths like "the patriarchy" instead of tangible issues that effect all black people and are unique to black people.

. They already found their patriarchy in white men, which is why you see a lot gays and black feminist with white boyfriends
