The scandal has been a huge boon for basketball, and in particular the NBA, in China. It has overtaken football as the most watched sport in the country -- the NBA estimates 450 million people now tune in -- and more than 300 million play the game.

the super bowl had ratings of 112M...I don't think the entire NBA playoffs combined reached that number

lol I love the nba but it's not touching the nfl. Ithe nba is not competitive enough until the final stage. The nba has the most predictable postseason of the 4 major us sports. We've had years when march madness was better than the nba postseason. Once Kobe retired it really will be a different league. Kobe been the most entertaining player since 23 retired. His postseason series are always entertaining and overwhelming than Lebrons. Lol the best pf in the history of the game was under appreciated most of his career by nba fans calling his squads boring. That would never happened in the nfl.
