Where will the NBA be when Lebron gone? He's the GM of the league lol.

It'll likely be like when Jordan left, the NBA will be in Purgatory status with KD leading the charge.
Who knows, maybe Thon Maker or someone else sprouts up in 6-7 years who is a transcendent player and fascinating person.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
until you have the numbers internationally, your point is moot. you can't take an estimate from the NBA and use that as proof of your argument :mjlol:

the super bowl had ratings of 112M...I don't think the entire NBA playoffs combined reached that number :ehh:

You're using American ratings and asking for international, even though other countries don't have Nielsen boxes :mindblown:

The NBA estimates that based on streams and page views of their chinese site which is in the billions.

The NBA is the only league that's basically entirely dependent on one player. Without Lebron where is the league right now? He can't carry the league after he retires...we already saw that with Jordan.

The league will be fine without him, and if they need to push a star KD is still only 25. If you haven't noticed Adam Silver seems to be looking at EPL & La Liga as his template for success, expect teams to get pushed more in the future.

I don't think NFL has gotten too big but Goodell and his men have. This dude thinks he's bigger than the sport itself. Changing the rules completely? Charging artists to play in the SB? and now this Ray Rice fiasco. Dude needs to go. Hopefully this is the kick out the door for him.

the fukk you talkin about this "world" shyt

who cares about the world...the NFL ratings in the states kill the NBA's world ratings. Hell, the NFL Draft killed NBA playoff ratings

:whoo:

the ratings aren't close breh. unless you can provide world TV ratings, your point is a bunch of spek-oo-la-shun :sas2:

FACTS. and it wasn't even Close....

Overnights: ESPN NFL Draft: 6.8 ESPN2 Blazers-Spurs 2.7 ESPN2 Heat-Nets: 2.6 NFL Net NFL Draft: 1.9 NBCSN Bos-Montreal 1.2 NBCSN Ana-LA: 0.7

fukk outta here with that CAC shyt nikka...i'm older and wiser than you

what you're talking about is a totally separate argument, we ain't even talking about that...take that shyt to the race track.

basketball is a better sport than football PERIOD. the only reason the nfl is so popular is cause cacs still control it in the power positions. if every starting qb was black and almost every coach, watch how quickly its popularity evaporates. it would die.

no. i'm asking for proof, other than "claims" and "estimates" by the NBA....you have yet to provide anything tangible or with substance.

the NBA would be making money hand over fist if the international numbers were that great, but they aren't.

you can see the impact of the NBA being a global sport vs. the NFL being just an american sport in the INCOME GAP off the field of nba stars vs. nfl stars.

kobe and lebron make WAY MORE off the court than any nfl players. alot of that is foreign money. for example, Kobe got that deal with turkish airlines. he and bron are prolly getting some nice graituity checks from nike for the sales of their shoes in china. etc.

highest paid athletes in team sports around the world are kobe/bron/ronaldo/messi. no surprise they are the most popular players in the most popular team sports in the world. soccer and basketball.

nfl players just don't rate GLOBALLY.

:dead: You don't even know how ratings are compiled, and are trying to ask for ratings from other countries where there are no Nielsen boxes, the fukk? The NBA estimates based on streams and page hits, why is this so difficult for you to grasp?

the NBA would be making money hand over fist if the international numbers were that great, but they aren't.

Yeah, you have no idea what you're talking about, this is the beginning of the globalization of the NBA.

the media is a complete circus and joke nowadays, this shyt really isnt bigger than the NFL, talking to people irl, i don't see the outrage. the hoopla is all from the media and the comments on various Ray Rice articles on the net that we know are oh so representative of how people regularly discourse :comeon:
