The rise is very small but scaling down has done wonders in terms of perception. Getting a sold out or 60% capacity crowd of 3-4k with a last week/2 weeks surge of 30-40% in sales is much better than 3k in a NBA arena were you barely sold 1.5k and had to almost give the other half with way cheaper prices.

It's one of those rare instances when the internet was actually right in what a promotion should do :heh:
Smaller venues have been great for AEW. Smaller interesting venues with full hot crowds really has restored the feeling as a marketing gimmick, but also actually. Recent shows have been fire weekly tv shows, and the smaller but sold out venues have been a real solid part of that.

Hopefully they get something going for Bowens soon. I know time is limited so not like they been wasting it especially on people who aren't champs or in current storylines.

Do think there's a difference between Blake and the typical jobber. Maybe that's not the best term to use. Cuz he may lose often but not like those guys you bring in for a quick squash match that's just getting their career started or nobody has heard of.

Bowens is good but had been mostly a tag team guy so they just gotta find his place on the card in the singles division. Don't know who is available that they could mix him in with especially with the ppv coming up in a few weeks. Prolly best to get him some more reps and then get him a decent feud unless they able go build something quick.
I've thought for a long time that Bowens can be a breakout star. Breh has all the tools (no pun intended) to be a TNT division top dog.

I don't know if TK sees the same star potential in Bowens, but I hope he gives AB a chance to flourish on Dynamite. I guess as long as Bowens doesn't show up in ROH, then we can possibly assume that Tony Khan has some kind of creative plan for him.

Next year they gotta bring All In back to Wembley for an Ospreay main. Scaling down as they cooled off (and they expected full on attack by the WWE) has worked beyond what they even could have expected. If they announce all in back in Wembley at FD they can get a big jump on sales and maybe spring a scheduling surprise on WWE.
I’ve read they are doing tremendous in the tv ratings over in the UK too, like this year has been the best or amongst the best they’ve ever done.

Upping the ante on the residency this year and parking Dynamite there too. Hopefully the crowds are as consistently lively as they were for the Texas Collision residency they did last year.

Wonder if this will be a prelude to All In Philly in 2026 since Texas got Y’All In a year after their residency. :jbhmm:

WWE has left TV in the UK and disappeared behind a paywall while AEW is on free to air TV.

The global implications of WWE's move are massive. That's why they're desperate to prop up TNA. AEW will experience massive gains in various international markets through absolutely no work of their own just by being available.

Yeah the smaller buildings have done all the logical things but also has given AEW their own unique visual identity for the first time ever imo. And it came right as WWE went into the stratosphere with their presentation.

Also, that calendar would indicate that All Out is moving to later in September (or some other time) unless they plan to announce it a later time at some point during that Philly residency.

I think Bowens/Kevin Knight/Speedball should all be fighting for the TNT title. They're so much better than Daniel Garcia and Adam Cole. At least Adam Cole is over/popular with the crowd though :ld:

Really no need for All Out when All In is in the U.S. :jbhmm: I wonder if it's bushed this year.

Grand Slam should be around that time as well. All Out seems like a redundancy

We were all pushing for it. I took them like 6-12 months too long but I'm glad TK finally pulled the trigger on it.
