Reviews I’ve seen so far are saying the photo realism actually hurts it, because you miss out on all the subtle emotional beats when you have animals with no expression interacting with each other. Also they apparently butchered a few of the songs

This could get a 20% though and it wouldn’t matter. Still gonna break box office records and Disney is gonna keep producing these cash grabs and taking advantage of millennial nostalgia

I'm not, I'm still in shock that they did so poorly with Aladdin. That should have been a classic. Yeah, it's making some money I don't know if it will reach a billion but even if it does it's not going to have the staying power that the original animated has. I don't know how they can fumble their own properties.
