my little sis applied to 10 medical schools and got rejected from 7 so far 
If she don't get something out of this final 3 I fear she's going to go into depress mode

I'm not sure. She already got her Masters in Public health. I told her she should look into PA school if this don't work out but her heart is set on being an MD.
Finally got 1st paycheck from new gig, been married 6 years but decided to withhold as a single person this year.

Computer is on it's last legs. Can't decide if I should get a new tower or go for a laptop.
What should I go with brehs?
I've never had a personal laptop since I always had one for work. But I'm never buying another tower again. My tinkering and upgrading techie days are over.
I'm looking at one of those Dell Chromebooks, but the touch screen version don't seem to have 8GB ram as an option.
Lower back sprain. Gonna call my girl to come over and help mend me if she isn't taking care of her niece...I do not need that lil rugrat over here right now. 
I'm already taking tomorrow and next Friday off anyway so I'll be on the mend. Hopefully I'll be ready for back day on Saturday.
I guess this is a good opportunity to smoke...I did just take some Advil PM though

I really think the meaning of life at the most basic primal level is to continue/establish some semblance of immortality. @CinnaSlim what do you think?

Also, creation is a way to grow/progress. Whether, creating kids, creating jobs, creating wealth, creating inventions, creating friendships.

I'm thinking about the movie Lucy based on your comment related to the expansion of knowledge to future generations. It ties into immortality imo.
We're social beings and develop from a physiological perspective based on our interactions with others...naturally that starts with our parents/caregivers. That growth/progress is a bonafide baseline to make an assessment of where we are now/who we are now compared to (for example) a younger version of us five years ago.
Nothing you said from my perspective is out therelol. Unless the rest of it is lol.

The out there part is just about collective consciousness. Basically, we are all expressions of energy. This energy wants expansion/ experience through all types of forms. So, you and I are both the same energy/soul experiencing life through different perspectives. This way we learn different things at the same time.
So a way to think of it is that all the energy is like water. You have oceans, rivers, streams, and currents. You and I may be two streams that come from the different rivers. Since everything is energy it includes animal, plants and inanimate objects.
I always liken it to how the Judo-Christian God created Jesus to as a way to create a connection to humans on earth. Jesus was born of flesh and blood, lived a human life, died a human death. Before him, people could not even look at the face of God without going blind or dying because his glory. So source energy wants to experience what it i like to be born in Australia, to be born in priviledge, to be destitute, to be a mother, to lose a child, and every possible experience, from every possible perspective.
That was one explaination I've found interesting.
