Bay Area.
probably best for both. if they do get rid of him, cleveland should hire him immediately. feel like he'd be a perfect fit for them going forward.

Cowher didn’t have a HOF QB his entire tenure

Doesn't explain why he lost as home favourites in 1994, 1997, and 2001 in AFC title games.

Also , why Sean Payton get a pass with a first ballot HOFer at QB? Payton has gone to the playoffs in 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2017. That's 6 times in 11 seasons (he didn't coach in 2012). He's also has multiple losing seasons. Tomlin has not ever had one .

Under cowher the team won eight division titles and made 10 playoff appearances. Cowher led the Steelers to the Super Bowl twice, winning one.

I get that. I guess I’m just amazed (in a good way) at how Marvin Lewis, a black coach, has such a long leash.

Marvin's done a lot of good for that organization, particularly in the scouting and back office areas. The Bengals were ran as a mom and pop business before he got there, now it's a professional organization

1.)Because having a HOF QB is easier than not having one. Cowher was getting to the super bowl with Neil O’Donnell and Afc title games with Kordell Stewart. They had completely different situations. I never cared for Cowher by the way

2.)I would’ve fired Sean Payton 2 years ago. There are saints fans who also have called for his job.

My brain says they are underachieving with their talent and experience. 3 playoff wins the last 6 seasons. Should be AFC Championship locks nearly every season

2017 13-3-0 1st -- AFC North 0-1 - Advanced to Divisional Playoffs
2016 11-5-0 1st -- AFC North 2-1 - Lost Conference Championship
2015 10-6-0 2nd -- AFC North 1-1 - Lost Divisional Playoffs
2014 11-5-0 1st -- AFC North 0-1 - Lost Wild Card Playoffs
2013 8-8-0 2nd -- AFC North - No Playoffs
2012 8-8-0 3rd -- AFC North - No Playoffs

My blackness wont allow for me to say he should be on the hot seat. Need a deep playoff run this year

For those saying he's a lock to return next season. Yeah, the Steelers have been historically ahead of the curve with race relations but never trust a city with Football, Baseball, Hockey and no NBA :mjpls:

Ehhhh... the Jags game is the only real black eye IMO. Losing to Peyton and Brady(both teams won the SB) is no great injustice. I forgot what happened in the 2015 WC game but Ravens/Steelers is always a brawl.

The Jags game... they got caught snoozing. They thought they would walk over the Jags(even though the Jags beat them already) and play the Pats and they got their asses whipped. No excuses for Tomlin, his team was unprepared to play.

It really blows my mind how Tomlin gets more heat than Marvin Lewis.
Marvin does catch heat. Cincinatti's ownership is just smart enough to know that shyt can get ALOT worse for them. I'm almost positive if Cincy were to fire Marvin they'd be a lot closer to becoming the Browns, Bills, Raiders, Buccaneers, Lions etc than they would become a respectable team (which they are sort of now)
