Doesn't explain why he lost as home favourites in 1994, 1997, and 2001 in AFC title games.

Also , why Sean Payton get a pass with a first ballot HOFer at QB? Payton has gone to the playoffs in 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2017. That's 6 times in 11 seasons (he didn't coach in 2012). He's also has multiple losing seasons. Tomlin has not ever had one .
SP is far from perfect, but with the defense they’ve had for much of the past 6-7 years, nobody should expect much. In 2012 they finished last in yards and 31st in points allowed. 2014 they finished 28th in points and 31st in yards. 2015 they were 31st in yards and last in points. 2016 they were 27th in yards and 31st in points. Let’s not forget they were fined an entire draft class basically when goodell tried to make it look like he cared about player safety by railroading the saints for something it turns out they weren’t doing, not to mention all the bad deals their GM made. I think a few years ago as much as 21-22% of their cap was committed to dead money. Hard for anyone to win under those circumstances.

What's with this "lost the locker room" narrative ya'll like to parrot? That's empty bullcrap talking points you'll only hear aimed at a certain type :mjpls:
Where's the veteran leadership from Ben to hold other guys accountable? :mjpls:
What has Tomlin ever done that was a detriment to the team that looked bad besides electric sliding onto the field during that return all those years ago :lolbron:

I'd take Mike Tomlin in a heartbeat....

but would Jerry want a brother running his team? Would he cut the legs from under him? No and yes, respectively...

Tomlin wouldnt work for Jerry Jones with all the options he would have.

It's obvious he has lost the locker room...

Won't be fired but he should go somewhere else...won't have a problem finding another head coaching gig

Marvin hasn’t won anything but his players and former players speak very highly of him.

Marvin has turned a joke of a franchise into consistent playoff contending team. Hes not gonna win much without having a legit QB and defense. Not many teams do. Give him an elite franchise qb and we be seeing pats vs cincy in the afc title game every so often

So be it then, Tomlin would get another job just like that.

Not his fault they won't pay leveon, not his fault his best lb is learning how to walk again. Not his fault they have a old decaying qb with 5 ints and 4 fumbles in. 4 games

28th in rushing yards a game when you had the third leading rusher last year
31st in defense

He's 46 with 125 wins and nearly a 70 percent winning percentage

IF youre a cac you can be a Sean Payton with one playoff appearqnce in the past 4 years or John harbough below .500 coach in the past 4 years
:wow:

This dude is Rex Ryan with more talent. Trying to trip opposing players on the sideline, got dudes Facebook living lockeroom meetings, blaming headsets when he gets his ass beat by the Patriots every year.

1.)Because having a HOF QB is easier than not having one. Cowher was getting to the super bowl with Neil O’Donnell and Afc title games with Kordell Stewart. They had completely different situations. I never cared for Cowher by the way

2.)I would’ve fired Sean Payton 2 years ago. There are saints fans who also have called for his job.

Honestly, it would be a stupid move to make. The team needed to go through a rebuild. Payton being one of the greatest offensive minds and still produceing top offenses for 10+ years with no one to really replace him. Bad move. Move towards getting a defensive minded coach in this Era? Every coach has flaws. Getting rid of Payton is a terrible move that the Saints have no way to improve from him.

When he stop producing top offensives... Saints should let him go. I'm pretty excited with what he can do if can get a hold of a stud elite duel threat QB like Cam or even 2020 prospect..
