Imagine being a playoff team and giving up a prime chance at AJ Dybantsa and 3 MORE, completely unprotected first round picks for... a zero-time all-star?? Starting to think first round picks don't mean much anymore

It's always valuable, but teams think their team is ready to win now and it usually backfires. One of the picks clippers traded away was a pick OKC used to draft Jalen Williams. You never know what can happen in the NBA because it just takes 1 injury to a star player and the pick for a contending team could end up being a lottery pick .
