Byron Allen has mentioned himself that players like Al Sharpton, Obama were never put to task in following through with social causes and restorative justice policy; there's no point of having money and influence, if the implementation is not there. Like a poster mentioned, historically, the church tries to play the middle and that's what we don't need bc it sends a message that our so-called representatives can be bought and sold.
No one is saying this is a "bad thing", what people are doing is expressing concern about how this will impact the original mission and intent of a grassroots movement and campaign in terms of mainstream influence bc what is not needed is for this to cycle out or become watered down bc people are stagnated bc of said influence.
