I ain't seen any Avengers running around, plus it's a different tone

If you recall the first or second episode when they were meeting with the realtor about the office, she mentioned "the incident", which was the fight at the end of the Avengers

Also, if you look at some of Ben's clippings in his office, there are front page splashes of Hulk tearing up Manhattan and the Chittauri battle

That plot thread will probably lead into defenders. I'm guessing he was an inhuman.

had the same feeling especially when the camera just zooms to vondie Curtis hall's face as he laid on the floor. With what's currently going on in America,the horror genre trope & the fact that he was the only good guy on the show to die couldn't help but feel another black life wasted like it's a sport
reminded me a little of what de palma did with brando's entrance in apocalypse now

Yeah, it touched me like that in a personal way. Hall is a fantastic actor and his presence only added to the quality of the show and cast. He also seemed to be the most relatable character-wise with all the shyt he was having to endure.
While the brutal act was effective, it also felt forced. I kept hoping for Matt to crash in and save him but it wasn't to be.
It was then that I wanted Kingpin's ass to be taken down.

I'll watch the season finale tonight.

Season two has now shifted ahead of Defenders on Netflix’s giant studio call sheet. “We’ll begin shooting in the second half of the year,” Cox revealed. “It’ll be the same timeline as the last show, so season two will come out about this time next year. Again, I’m imagining all this, but they’ll probably do Iron Fist or Luke Cage at the same time, followed by the other one [of the two] in the first half of 2016 and then maybe Defenders in the second half of 2016 or the beginning of 2017.”

Nah stick did kill ol boy. But the idea of what he was doing there and what the hand was doing with him I think will be a plot line that leads to the defenders...

I thought it was alright, I just didn't believe in the actor that played Kingpin and thought he was horrible. He wasn't intimidating or street savvy. He just looked like private Pyle from Full Mental Jacket

i dont understand the hate on Vincent D-Nofrio, he killed the role of kingpin. to me his entire story arc was the best part of the show. they did a great job with all of the cast in my opinion. but i thoroughly enjoyed the kingpin the most. i even would go as far as to say he deserves an emmy nom for his role as kingpin, it was that good
