At 10 maybe roll the dice but in weak draft some really good polished players fall in that 10-15 range

but if you believe in the player development which looks like its been working in Atlanta I don't think you should pass on people who have the tools like Bol Bol (health grade, combine, interview dependent) and Reddish...But I don't even think Reddish will last until their pick. I'm think thinking the Hawks may end with #8 Hunter/Hayes/Coby White or #10 Bol Bol/Clarke/Langford/K Johnson....Looks like the Hawks have a system in place and brining in a good steady wing and a big man should be priorities they are set at the PG/PF positions and SG I like Huerter but if Langford grades out well and impresses he may be worth a look.

I also think Mudiay may be a potential good fit for the Hawks via free agency.

I think the Hawks should take Reddish or Bol Bol if they can they have 2 picks may as well swing for the fences on one...But at the same time I want them to take a Hunter/Culver/Hayes
I think best case scenario is we develop Cam into a real good sharp shooter, it might be exactly what we need. I worry about him mentally tho he doesn’t seem to have it. People have to reach so hard to sell him I’ve seen someone point out the way he runs to hype him up. Then he was supposed to be a shooter but he shot poorly. I’d take a gamble at 10 tho if we can develop him.

Right now I’m eyeing Hunter/doumbouya/Culver/Hacimura at 8 and Reddish/Langford/Bol/Hayes at 10

For me: Reddish is clearly the top target. He fits what we do, he can grow in our system and Trae will set him up for success.

He likely will struggle with most teams but will be fine with us.

I like Hayes or Fernando at 10. Very low on Bol for Atlanta. I like him in general but not for us

Mudiay? Please explain that one to me?

the gap between Morant & RJ is really that big?

tbh, we dont know for sure....but imo, I havent been impressed with Barrett yet...as he is now. if he develops his game he could be a Granger level player which was pretty damn good....if he doesnt then I see him as a Magette level player which was pretty good too but you probably would want a lil more from your top 5 pick. Its time for Grizz to move on from MCjr...so thats mainly what this is about.

The way RJ has been getting diminished or outright shyt on is crazy.

These 5 star guys gonna stop grouping up at this rate

they need to. I mean a couple star guys yeah, but case in point, Reddish could possibly lose millions on his first deal based on how he looked at Duke in their shadow.

thought everyone would've caught on after how they let Duval go from best PG in the country to undrafted

imo, some of these players (parents) think it is as simple as going to a high profile school and it isnt. Calipari spoiled people. at one point everyone going to UK thought they were going to be 1st rounders or lottery picks. look at guys like Briscoe, Dakari, etc...I think they caught on as in the past couple years, its been Duke who has been getting the more stacked teams. Duke is the most televised team and I think players are taking that for given. Reddish isnt really an extreme case but one of the knocks on him was if he was able to be a consistent and aggressive player who could be an alpha personality and that knock was only further substantiated.

Are we really blaming Coach K for Reddish, every team in the NCAA would have built their team around Zion and R.J.

It’s not Coach K fault Zion was out a month that was Cam’s time to step up and outside a few instances he didn’t
it is coach k's fault for having literally no one else on the roster who was worth guarding. outside of zion, cam, and rj - duke wasnt threatening anyone. kid's don't go to these programs to be trapped at halfcourt and see three defenders any time they put the ball on the floor beneath the 3pt line

duke's roster was absolutely atrocious outside of those 3.
