If that happens.. that lockout is gonna push away so many fans... and this isn't back in the day when they lost a damn season. These are new times. A lot of these fans won't come back. Unless we're talkin $5 box seats.![]()
Yea I don't think there's gonna be a cap neither, but I can definitely see a floor. And if teams don't hit that floor, then that's cool... just no revenue sharing for you.All that deferred money will be outlawed during the lockout. I don't think we'll ever get a cap unless the league makes a huge concession like limiting the amount of years before players can hit free agency for example, Juan Soto hits free agency after 3 years instead of 6.

Baty for Duran?Mets got a deep farm but light on outfielders and Boston doesn't have a 3rd basemen.![]()
I wouldn’t do it. This is Baty’s last shot. Give him the year at 3rd and hopefully he takes it and runs with it. If he doesn’t, then he’ll get a change of scenery.Baty for Duran?
Baty for Duran?
Hell nah and I think we have a good amount of prospects that can play the OF (Benge/Ewing/Williams). Just a glut of guys that play the infield whose value probably won't get any higher. I'd rather sign Tucker or sign/trade for a stop gap guy. Baty the only infielder to put it together for a good stretch on both offense and defense.Baty for Duran?
