I think he ends up in Seattle.

The dark horse is the Mets. Because they've been scouting him for a while, Alonso walks then there's an open spot for him

Angels are the dark horse they got money to spend

All signs point to NYY unless he’s dead set on a west coast team than Sea is also a big horse

I think the Yankees are all in on getting him. I assume the Mets will be in on him as well with or without Alonso. Considering neither Baty or Vientos offer enough to not go for Murakami.

Seattle would be much more interesting than him going to the Angels. But they do have some young pieces that maybe they can work into something.

@tremonthustler1 has been scouting him since his sophomore year at Kyushū Gakuin

Not happening. Yankees already said they see Ben Rice as their every day 1st baseman going forward. Which basically eliminates Murakami as an option.

And I'm thankful for that, because I don't want him either
Murakami is a 3B though they would easily take him over Ryan McMahon

the only plus side to the dodgers getting kyle tucker is he younger than teoscar

they need to really focus on developing de paula and kim…
kim was good in the outfield and in short

with teo having 2 years left on his contract that gives them enough time to work on them… they need to get younger players cause these mfs old asl

I think if the Yankees want Murakami, they’ll get him, I don’t know if Cashman or that other dumbass Fishman wants him.

Murakami is not playable at 3rd in the MLB. He's so bad defensively, he makes Rafael Devers look like a gold glover in comparison. That's why he keeps being listed as a 1st baseman, because that's where teams have him projected to play over here.

Nevermind the fielding issues, the more important issue is they the kid has a 30% K rate in the Japanese league. Which means he'll be striking out in half his at bats over here :scust: no fukking thanks :camby:

If the Yankees are going after a Japanese hitter, Okamoto is the better choice. He's a little older than Murakami (29 vs 25) and he doesn't have the same type of power, but he's a way better contact hitter, doesn't strike out as much, and can field multiple positions efficiently (1B/3B/LF)
