Is that machine just throwing a straight 100, or are they configured to simulate movement like on a 2-seamer or splitter?

I remember my niigga Ubaldo Jimenez had a two seamer that had such crazy movement I saw a batter look back at him like :wtf:. Dude was a lefty, and it looked like a fastball headed right at his hip, then broke back and caught the inside corner of the plate.

As long as this man ain’t calling a game, I’m good. His storytelling belongs in studio shows anyway and would be good if he keeps it a lot more current. Plenty of great history to educate on over the last 25-30 years at this point.

This. He works best in short doses.

It won’t link right but this was an interesting comment from former MLB player John Vander Wal on the changes to pitching and hitting over the last decade or so.

I didn't see it in real time (was too young) but 98 seemed like a dope season :wow:

I was :mindblown: that Albert Belle had the best the best offensive second half and not McGwire or Sosa. The starpower in baseball back then was :damn: Seattle had Griffey and A Rod with both of them having MVP seasons and still missed the playoffs :mjlol:

Dude's name is.... Fitz-Gerald? :dwillhuh: Like, not Fitzgerald, but a hyphenated family name that just so happens to be a combination of Fitz and Gerald? :gucci:

Reminds me of this kid I knew named Austin who got legally adopted by his stepdad.... Mr. Austin. This nikka's name was Austin Austin :pachaha:
