Pache didn't even last a full season with the A's if I remember correctly.

Jason Heyward and Freddie Freeman both came to the majors the same season. Heyward was basically the top prospect in baseball. We've seen how their careers played out.
Heyward 16 year journeyman, 100 million dollar contract, and a world champion, but hey....

Cause I'm that kind of fantasy nerd. I have prospect books at the ready.

2021 - Pache was the Braves #1 prospect and Strider was their #30

also of note top 3 OF prospects for the Braves at that time. Pache, Drew Waters and Michael Harris II. See which one has developed. Waters seems to be turning a page with the Royals though.

I’m a prospect dude myself , every major league star was a prospect at some point

They’re really hard to project and development isn’t linear some take longer than others

Miguel Amaya was top 100 but had mad injuries for 2-3 years and fell off and was overlooked but now he’s a solid starting catcher for the cubs

Heyward the reason why baseball helmets have face guards today. He doesn't get his shyt cracked and his career is totally different :hubie:

This has nothing to do with what I said. Freeman has easily had a better career than Heyward. The majority of people wouldn't have thought this when they both started in Atlanta.

The Yankees best pitching prospect, Elmer Rodriguez-Cruz and their top pick last year, Ben Hess are high strikeout guys who walk everybody.

I don’t understand why for 25 fukkin years Brian Cashman’s farm system is a bunch of guys who will end up being 7th inning relievers.

The other day I saw some documentary and a guy in it was named Virgil.
