That Corbin Burnes news is brutal. He was as solid of a free agent signing as I could remember. He's been an innings eater (by today's standards) the last four years and never misses starts.

Despite all the concerns about his velocity and whatever else, he had his lowest ERA in four years so far this season. What a damn shame.

I’m a prospect dude myself , every major league star was a prospect at some point

They’re really hard to project and development isn’t linear some take longer than others

Miguel Amaya was top 100 but had mad injuries for 2-3 years and fell off and was overlooked but now he’s a solid starting catcher for the cubs

It's wild to me there isn't a better system or metrics in place to project baseball prospects by now.
