Sounds like Senga last year. Japan has some great pitchers but they are fragile. The wind blows the wrong way and they are out for 3 weeks.
shytty weekend in Queens but that's bound to happen in a 162 game season. As bad I think it was, at least we lost to a real team and didn't lose to the Rockies.

14-6 in their last 20 and only 10 games under .500 now. Yeah, they've played some JV squads during this run (CWS, ANA et al), but...terrible or not, got to beat whoever's on the other side of the field.
It's not like there's some AL juggernaut out there. O's even played DET tough a few days ago.
In any case, I think we'll have a good idea of whether this is legit or a mirage after these next couple series (@ TB, @ Yank$).

First interesting trade in MLB in a long while. I’ve really been struggling to get into this season.
Giants going all in this season. Dodgers vulnerable with all the injuries to their pitching. Don’t like the length of contract remaining for Devers, but in the short term it’s a good risk that his bat will be somewhat worth it.
Red Sox got a nice haul to continue to retool their squad.
