Think about it. Dallas never told any other team they were shipping Luka. If they did that it would create a bidding war and get them way more assets. On top of that they didn't request a proper haul from LA because that would weaken LA too much. This shyt has been rigged for months to get Luka to LA and Dallas would get Flagg as compensation later. Nico was the fall guy and he'll either be getting paid under the table or guaranteed a cushy job somewhere else later down the line.

I don’t see how Jase Richardson is getting lottery buzz and Pettiford was early second ..the gap between them isn’t that big.
