The way I see it: Harper is coming in to lead the 2nd unit and learn the game. Pretty sure will get some starts. Fox is an injury prone player as well.
In 2-3 years you have a Harper/Castle backcourt and you get a pretty good sized wing at the 3 then you have an enormous sized 1-3 that’ll play really well with Wemby. If your smallest starter is 6’6 then you potentially have the tallest starting lineup in the league.

I think the Magic predictions for Pettiford are starting to feel a lil bit more real. I hope my nikka doesn't leave for like a 25th overall spot, but if he were to commit, I think they'd scoop him.

The league needs to either revert back to the previous weighted odds, or limit the lottery to no play in teams
If I'm a Charlotte hornets fan, why I am gonna continue to waste time on a team that wins 25-30 games a year with a #7 draft pick to look forward to every year?
It's not the franchises being punished, executives change teams every year. Look at Troy Weaver, 3 teams in 3 yrs. Your punishing the fans, and it makes them feel as if the league is against them and they have no hope.
Grown man talk, backroom deals and bribes are a fact of life in the corporate world. I've seen restaraunts pay off the health inspector, I've seen city officials payed off so permits get approved. Etc..
To say the nba is above rigging the lotto and paying people off, when the exact same accounting firm (not a rotation of firms, the exact same one) oversees them every year, I would say is naive.
How hard would it be to tinker with the ping pong machine to ensure the ping pong ball I want to pop up does?
