They were stupid to complete abandon a platform that had over a million subscribers and was their best marketing tool for promotion

I understand wanting to establish the app, so taking time off from Youtube was a necessary evil. But to basically leave their number 1 place for engagement was just poor decision making on their part. I'm sure the money from the app is good but you basically kill any growth opportunities.

Just doing the 1st rounds wouldve been the best of both worlds. Entices ppl to check out the app for the rest and battlers still get exposure. Not to mention they shouldve still been featuring their battlers(songs/interviews etc) on the youtube channel anyway just to keep the channel active. They handled that transition the wort way possible lol.

Agreed

Why not do cyphers ? Freestyles? Interviews? Trailers? Maybe an occasional battle showcasing new talent?

It doesn’t have to even be battles just keep people engaged.

The app has been out for what 3-4 years now? I been said there's no reason they can't do the same 3 drops a week format for youtube for their older app battles.

Start from the very beginning and just follow the same 3 drops a week format. You have well over 2 years worth of content right now for them to start with that can go on youtube and they still can save the last 2 years worth of app battles exclusive to the app. Win/Win imo.

He's going to get washed if he doesn't go with that angle as well, lol. The washing is inevitable. He'll talk and posture his way out of it having any lasting effects after tho.
