Calicoe is still top tier. He gets paid like a top tier battler and he still gets big match ups.

Big Calicoe fan but he's not top tier anymore. Bodied Math Hoffa at SM1 whilst being the only one with balls to shyt on Lux to call him out (Ars battle)..but since then? He's like a Conceited to me.....his name precedes him.

Cal's problem is he's lazy (freestyled whole battle against O-Red) and his legal problems didn't help...This Surf battle he better show up though.

"Top tier" imo is best of the best: Rex, Verb, Clips, Lux, O-Red, Mook, Surf, Hollow, Pat Stay, Hitman, Math, Goodz, Arsonal

yeah calicoe is a beast when he's on fire. hopefully he kills surf lol.

I think all these newer battlers are taking too many battle in too many smaller leagues. Let's take JC for instance. JC's performance vs Chilla Jones was enough to catapult him past whatever tier and into a legit top tier battle. Instead, he wasted tons of great bars on no names in order to collect small checks. Now he's getting 3-0'd by the likes of 100 Bulletz. Same goes for B-Magic when he took like 12 battles in a year. If these newer battles had any sense, they wouldn't waste good material in leagues most fans will ignore.

And I agree with @cornercommission2k12 , These new guys need to be better self promoters. JJDD really doesn't deserve to be known as well as he is. He's battled Math, Hitman Holla, Clips, and is going to battle Hollow. And that's all because he has a big mouth. And Hollow & Calicoe got Lux because they had the audacity to call him out. In Hollow's case, he called Lux out for YEARS. Big T got Hollow because he called him out. Verb got Clips the same way. etc,etc.

But let's be honest. It's MUCH tougher to enter the top tier than it was before.
