I'm curious if it's even possible to have a classic quiet room battle. The idea is cool on paper, but it just doesn't do anything for me on footage.

I appreciate it just because it's original, but I haven't watched a quiet room battle more than once.

Best atmosphere for a battle is like danny meyers/nitty, jc/chilla, big t/surf, etc.

ARP talked going to a quiet room battle in a recent blog. Perhaps it's a better live experience

Yo, that QP vs QP is actually dope. I watched when it first came out and I thought it was good but I've watched it 4 more times since then and it gets better with each watch. QP(Innuendo) is a lyrical monster and his scheme that lead to the Hollow Man/Kevin Bacon is nasty as hell. Qleen has me laughing every time I watch it as well. Classic battle for me.

I know exactly what you mean. Having the crowd take over ruins battles but having no crowd sucks all of the energy out of the battle as well. The settings you said + the PG battles on the roof have the best atmosphere to me.
