Nah rex is a vet. He has a huge skill set and the intangibles. Lyrics are his weak point but he can talk to crowds and sell lines as good as well as anyone. He knows how to work. That Utah Jazz line is a top 3 worst line in the history of battle rap but he sold it when it should have got him booed out the building.

Aight so after watching the only battles i cared about i score them like this
Magic vs JC - I really can't pick a winner, not cause either one of them brought their A game.....it's was like B vs B - and i can't figure out which grade to give either of these n!ggas smh. On paper this was suppose to be one of the battles of the night
Verb vs Swave - Verb 3-0....he did just enough to get the job done. Nowhere near the level of performance like against Tez or Ars, but just about on par with his performance against Diz.
Big Kannon vs Big T- Kannon 3-0 for obvious reasons.....he kicked the bacon fat out of T the first 2 rounds, in Kannon fashion he brought it all and yes that includes BARS (Him vs Hollow or Clips needs to happen down the line imo)....and even the name flips was dope!!. T had some shyt in certain spots.....the smile/kill em' with kindness line, the kannon wordplay was dope in typical Big T fashion, the megaman line was good, and some of the gracie jokes was funny.
Clips vs Hitman - All i can say is Gotdamn, now this is a muthafukkin' classic!!!! Both these n!ggas was cookin' the first 2 rounds....the 3rd Hitman got it easily because Clips just ran out of gas. I CANNOT call a winner at all.

Nah not at all. Sometimes you gotta get that crowd love/support right out the gate. The rule is after all that sh!t, the battle rapper gotta start goin' off to make up for it (if your that technical of a listener), which Hitman did as always so i can't knock it too bad. I'm not mad if anybody gave Clips the 1st because he came out swingin' doin' what he do in the 1st round.
