Nah not really. Those KOTD and Grindtime guys have waaaaaay more battles than the Smack/URL guys. Theasarus, Dizaster, Illmac, DNA, Ars, Soul Khan, Dirtbag Dan are really high because they have a lot of battles in different leagues.

For example, Illmac is ahead of Surf, but I guarantee Surf averages a good 300K views more per battle than Illmac.

Listened to the last two Angryfan radios, some cat called up and said that URL is working on signing artists to URL... Prez also hinted on his episode that URL was doing something big that the other leagues can't compete with, he also said Smack/Beasley helped him get an apartment and some money in his pocket so this may be true.

if the battlers were smart they'd have something stating they can take 2-3 battles per year on outside leagues of their choosing as long as those leagues pay for everything



but then again i wouldn't sign no contract to be a professional battle rapper

The problem with battlers is they rely strictly on battles for money which leads to them signing these contracts with Smack. People have been signed to Smack for years. I remember Ars and T-Rex talking about nikkas signing exclusive deals to Smack over 2 years ago

No WAY it's gonna be that amateur... Come on man... There should be deals just for some kind of order alone... No way it's gonna be as simple as "we signed you, you only batte here and we're throwing two events a year" no way.
