battle rap world is the polar opposite of the mainstream rap worldthese nikkas just figuring out you can sign people to contracts, they prolly gettin them 360's and dont eem know it :hovlaff: why would you WANT to sign a URL contract when you know they're prolly gonna book you anyway if the match-up makes sense
lets be reality tho.
Do we know whats in them contracts? contracts have clauses, and if URL dont live up to their end of the bargian (x amount of battles, x amount of dollars etc) then the contract can be voided.
We gotta know what is in that contract first.

my thing is why would you want to sign a contract in the first place, suppose your living situation changes and you need to make a couple quick cash grabs on other leagues or whatever, you might not be able to do that due to that contract you signed 8 months ago, you gonna put your faith in smack/beasley to look out for you?

thats the thing. We dont know what he Might or might not be able to do until we see the contract.
Anyway, I feel what your saying. I know if its me, id weigh my options. Id look at how much money I made the last couple years, find out from other leagues how much they'd pay to have me on...and then compare that number to the number in the contract.

going by how smack said it, with the vets being "free agents" able to take battles where ever and whenever they want to, that contract is definitely gonna come with some restrictions, and given the economy right now i would NOT want to put my faith in smack/beasley to do right by me
there's a reason why they aint tryna sign any vets, them nikkas would prolly read that shyt and look at them like 
Let them battle in any league and just settle for 1 rounders and shyt. fukk it. We almost had a Clips/Rex one rounder until URL stepped in. But hey y'all with it so fukk it. Y'all will get all the battles you really wanna see they'll just be cut WAY the fukk down.
