The only way you could argue in your favor, is if we are talking about the Lux we are seeing now.....which is a more consciously aware battle rapper, the lux before hand tho?!....no...absolutely not. It's not a soul in battle rap that could win against him in that aspect. Debatable rounds yeah with only a couple people, but unanimously beating him even in this era would be damn near impossible. It's way too much to deal with in the old lux's skill set.

edit: you know what, im done, i've never seen one man be blindly hated/blindly defended more than Lux, even my nikkas who dont even watch battle rap feel some type of way when you bring up that mans name :smhcraig: a conversation that had absolutely nothing to do with him as an overall battle rapper turned into a long debate because you caught feelings over me not liking that nikkas performance in ONE battle as much as you did @Ghostface Trillah

Nobody else finds Lux stans hilarious tho? This nikka is really gawd to these nikkas man. Lux could freestyle some shyt off the top off his head and nikkas like Ghost would praise that shyt like a verse in the bible. The most absurd shyt I've heard in battlerap has come from Lux stans.

I hadn't been in this thread in a bunch of days, I was catching up on pages, wasn't nobody going around you bruh,I don't go around anyone.I did not read who said it and really didn't care. Agree with this, Lux used to kill shyt. I still think he has that in him it's just that this era is soooo different. Lux can't sit up there and spit double entendres about civil rights and expect to gain new fans and win the majority of the room, it just ain't happening. I appreciate those lines personally, but this era appreciates majorly animation, delivery, well done personals, etc. etc. way more.

Battle rap has evolved to the point where Lux can't expect to have great battles versus everyone just due to the style clash. Even Calicoe made it close with his pure aggression and the fact Lux fukked up rounds 1 and 2. Sure you can't 3-0 Lux, but you can have a close battle with him. There is a reason he has Mook next and not a Clips, Tay Roc, etc. Lux would have to really prepare his shyt differently against one of the new vets.

I don't think he would have to prepare different at all, because everybody we could name know how Lux USE to give it up... it's his new style that prevents him from doing it. Not saying he can't because he used like maybe 4 gun bars from Miles to now, it's just that he's now known as a poster child for black awareness/positivity in battle rap let's keep it all the way real. We saw glimpses of the old lux against Hollow with quite a few lines, but i can guarantee if he went back to the old style, somebody somewhere would call him a hypocrite to some extent. That new style since SM2 is kind of a gift and a curse.
