I don't have day or anyone beating lux.That's a hard lyrical onslaught to overcome. Verb would have to showtime it all 3 rounds from beginning to end and. I don't think he has that in him.I have day as the most entertaining matchup that we as fans can get from lux. That's why I said day is his own biggest weakness. I'm personally tired of saying "If day takes it serious or If day doesn't use a gimmick..." He gets in the ring and throws random bars or uses a gimmick and lets lux melt his face off for 3 rounds. He can't blame anyone but himself. We can only hope he's smart enough to show up lyrically for a battle he's been calling for.

Guess Im just looking at it like this. Day got where he is by gimmicks. He has alot of bars and it may be a cool matchup but I don't think he should be rewarded to that extent. At least not until he beats some of these names. If he beats clips and verb I can't argue with it. I just don't feel he's done much. At least calicoe beat math when he was at his biggest and on the biggest stage. Lux battles are all very serious, daylyt is a joke to me still. Before randoms who don't be in here kill me daylyt is still a great battler

Guess Im just looking at it like this. Day got where he is by gimmicks. He has alot of bars and it may be a cool matchup but I don't think he should be rewarded to that extent. Thats the sad part cause he has TONS of bars. He didn't want to wait on talent to get him there. Problem with his "names" battles is he still using gimmicks in those. We don't know when will the gimmicks end or what he's trying to accomplish with them.Thats why I say he's his own weakness. He let B-magic 3-0 him for entertainment purposes

I can't reign him king when once again, and it's a shame I have to say this again, the guy only has 4 battles to judge from. And in this new era he went to the same move twice. Once it worked but that might have been the level of his competition and the next time he pulled the preacher hollow smoked him. Not 3-0 but 2-1 and y'all can't deny most got hollow winning. But I'll concede its debatable but that fact means lux no longer deserves the m bison on street fighter treatment cause hollow exposed a hell of a weakness on dude

So what if lux just don't have another move to go to? That makes him vulnerable to a lot of battlers with huge personalities who could land heavy bars and be more versatile which could sell better in that battle. Meanwhile all lux got is "preacher"

With that fact I can see quite a few being able to beat lux. Until lux can show me something else

He always says this, but he acts like his antics now have correlated to him being a big name, they just made him middle of the pack. If he didn't do antics and kept doing bars eventually he would be where he is now. A mid tier level battle rapper. He acts like the antics got him to be a big name, that nikka has one 500 K battle in his life. The rest are 300 K and lower. People talk about him but mostly about him being a clown and nothing he's done will ever lead him to maineventing anything. And I think Daylyt is dope as fukk and I think he's funny (not the antic shyt, fukking hate that, but his blogs can be entertaining). But his fame isn't anywhere near where he thinks it is, and it could've easily been obtained if he stayed on the bar path. Classics against respectable names get you just as much attention as antics, plus you get respect with it.

I just don't think after makin calicoe a joke and arguably beatin hollow then the rematch with mook, he should be facing fukkin daylyt Verb deserves that. Clips deserves that. People who take battle rap serious. I truly focused verb can go personal right there with him. Lux big advantage is that he's more lyrical than everyone and he can break people down like no one else. Daylyt just ain't on that level I think day will just be trying too hard bar wise because he can't go the hollow way and attack lux credibility( never seen him do it). Lux would kill him. Knowing battle rap tho, watch that shyt happen.

lux already said he's not goin too hard on the pricetage anymore since he cashed out with UW and now Total Slaughter iirc he said he's down to take on battles more regularly

Well the bright side is, Day will do it for free. lol the cal and math battles were both really bad battles.

To me its lux hollow clips...mix those 3 around however you want but thats the clear top 3 really. clips gotta battle one of them.

i personally dont think he woulda got the clips battle if he didn't make the UW card and there's no way in hell he woulda been on the UW card if he didn't go out of his way to make himself one of the most talked about battlers, regardless if it was for dumbass antic reasons or not, you seen the type of names on that UW card, i refuse to believe day woulda got himself to that level in such a short amount of time off of just bars alone (assuming battlers with a decent following would've accepted to battle him in the first place, we know how these nikkas be duckin)

clips only really gives those looks to PG type dudes and i doubt day woulda did the PG shyt

Daylyt needed antics. His pen game alone wasn't really good enough to get him recognition until recently.

Daylyt was an extremely mediocre battle rapper for years. He's someone that had to really develop himself. His boy Dizaster is someone I consider more of a natural. Guys like a hollow, clips, diz, dna, etc are natural rappers. Daylyt probably had to write in the basement 8 hours a day to get his game up. He really feels that he was overlooked, but he just wasn't very good.

Ok i hear every one's arguments and i can't argue against what a lot of y'all said....gotta call a spade a spade. But if Day smokes Clips and Verb 2-1 you know what that means? Quill Russell can no longer be denied If he loses to either one in my eyes....just forget i even brought this whole debate up lol.
