EXACTLY.... If you have a a SLIGHT following they'll sign you... They LOVE that shyt (cheaper for them) I can make a song tomorrow that can pop and they'll wait mayyyybe a month to see if the following picks up, and they'll take a shot with you. These battlers got this defeatist syndrome.

I'm one of the biggest Lux supporters on here but no.....Lux wouldn't kill Verb. Verb can hang with Lux....why? because Verb is gonna talk that shyt. What the OLD Lux use to bring, Verb can match because he's just as animated, got crazy performance, can do some grown man bars of his own, can strings words together just as good as the old lux. Of course not in wordplay but he can go. He aint' no slouch Verb can get busy. He washed Hollow years before Hollow/Lux was even thought of. Plus their history is just as deep as Lux vs Hollow. Black Power/Pastor Lux ain't gon' cut it, the Hoodie gotta come back out flat out. The nose grabbin', shoulder swayin', eyes bout to pop out his head Lux gotta come back for that to happen.

Exactly....yeah he's had a few bad battles, but when Verb is on he's on. It's hard to beat a FOCUSED Verb. I still get flash backs of what he did to Ernesto lmao!!!

I haven't seen anything from Verb in about close to 2 years to make me think he would have a competitive battle with Lux in New York.

It's a battle I would love to see just because their style of rapping.

Verb is one of my favorite nyggas in battle rap. His style of rap is so nice to me that he can come light & still come in entertaining as hell.

You gotta stop bringing up sb, hollow, etc. Those performances were years ago. He's still a solid battle rapper today.

The issue Verb would run into is that him & Lux are in the same lane of battle rap. The "well thought out, structure, well written" lane. Lux is better at it than Verb.

I think Verb could have matched him years ago, but not today.

He smoked Ars 2-1.....Idk what you consider "top tier" but as far as popularity and relevancy lately it was him. Goodz was never good to me ever, i mean even back in the lionz den days. So if that clip online is any indication, Verb pretty much kicked his ass from the word jump. Idk if you consider "Goodz" top tier but for the sake of relevant opponents, just add him to the list.

Verb lost his chance when he got washed by Clips.. then Rex. Lux went on camera sayin if he got past Clips (which he rightly doubted) he would battle Verb..

The same way i can bring up Miles for Lux, we can do the same for Verb w/ Hollow, SB. Its really no difference. Verb has had a few bad performances, but can go off at least 2 out 3 rounds at any given time. Lux can still bar uh' n!gga soul up to jesus and still be entertaining, uses showmanship, delivery, aggression at times, grown man bars that will hurt uh' nygga heart, performance. He's adapted. I think Verb can still give him a run for his money. Because i honestly can't see Lux running with this same theme/angle of positivity. It was a breath of fresh air, but he can't run it into the ground. Verb got grown man bars too....the only thing Verb can't do better then Lux like you said is structure, and i will also add in wordplay. Verb don't want no smoke with Lux if Beloved decide to backslide lmao!!.

Basically how I feel about it. I mean...Havent seen anyone say verb beat goodz either. Heard all 2-1s for him. Verb and lux would be nice to see for the history and I prefer him over day...but lux would work that nikka.
