just listened to some of the beaslely interview and so far what i got is
- B Magic and Verb were supposed to have their battles first, but couldn't get to NY on time due to flight cancellations
- Cortez vs Rex was booked on another league, and URL contracted the battle from that league. 2 minute rounds were the rules agreed upon so that's what they went with.

- So the same league claiming they put everybody up in hotels, apparently now we got battle rappers taking same day flights to get to the venue in time. Literally every flight I've gone on in the last 2 years has been delayed for one reason or another. Smack and Beasley should know better, give me a break
- There clearly was a disconnect somewhere. Cortez wrote verses way longer than 2 minutes. So either he was unaware of what the contract said, or it didn't say that. Bad communication regardless. And either way, being that the battle was moved to NOME, kill the time limits and let the two dudes go off. For fukk sakes.

What happened was poster trying to get they cap'n-save-a-clips on saw that I said that and zoned in on that quickly. The original point was some acting like verb didn't deserve a shot at lux based on his battles with clips and acted like clips bodybagged verb. When in reality clips won, but the battle was trash, clips sucked, verb was not himself, the crowd was terrible and it was originally a battle that got more dislikes than likes and had more back lash for being overhyped. So how do you take that specific battle and try to deny verb lux, and not look at verb whole body of work? That was the original argument. These dudes just saw the truth of what I was saying couldn't deny it then started playing the deflection game.
Typical from some tho, who in one breath will kill verb under those circumstances vs clips but in the next breath when verb is beating swave only want to focus on verb not being that great and how swave could've won that. You see the double standards here? When it's Rex getting cheered for trash u-tah lines and clips got people screaming for "and you licked your lips again!" These dudes want to scream "verb got bodybagged" when verb beats caustic, Ars , swave, etc these same posters want to bring up how mediocre verb was. But never want to bring up how mediocre clips and Rex was

we both know jc is mad inconsistent breh, he beat clips in a one rounder, turned around and was extra lukewarm against magic and lost, and even before those battles he was known for being inconsistent
I wouldn't say he's inconsistent, out of every 10 battles, he might have 1-2 off nights, I'd say he doesn't take his big battles as seriously as he should. Because his material for lower opponents is crazier than it is for his bigger name ones. It makes no sense.
with that said, if he's on his A game he's significantly better than Daylyt imo. Significantly. Daylyt will match him on bars on his best day, but delivery, clarity, flow, haymakers, JC would overpower him.
