1. have the event (with judges in building to get a feeling of the crowd/performance type stuff)

2. let's say the first battle is supposed to drop 8 days later, during those 8 days the judges watch the battle multiple times until they each made up their minds

3. on the 6-7th day, record the judges together talkin about who they think won and why, official vote is decided

4. slap that footage on at the end of the battle footage

judges get in building AND on cam perspective, nobody knows who won until the battle is dropped online.... it's the perfect plan

i'd have no problem with that as long as the judges were credible

The only thing that would work to try to ensure some quality in the product would be to deduct from a battler's check if they choke and don't provide the audience with at least the amount of time the rounds were supposed to be. So choking in a round ala Lux would result in a deduction of money based off of how much time you actually provided the audience with and how much was expected. The winner/loser type thing is kinda iffy. The quality of what the battlers brought in terms of material, performance and whatever is something that really can't be evaluated. That only comes into account when thinking about future battles as well as fan reactions imo.

If URL conducts itself more like a proper business, then this seems reasonable. Organization in general should be the priority with the events and subsequently doing something like this. RNT

you can't control people saying who they think won during a battle breh no matter what you do, the crowd was actin like DNA was jesus until the footy dropped and we saw different

the judges dont have to stay off twitter they should be professional enough to not get caught up in the hype, seeing as they'd have footage to rewind as much and they want. they dont talk about the battle online either, SMACK dont even gotta tell people WHO the judges are until the footage is already out, that way nobody is even asking them who they think won

I'd completely disregard them as a judge and it should be expected that a judge would disregard all that. That's the difference between some random fan getting caught up in the moment and influenced by others and a judge. Hearing less about the battles from these judges would almost give the perceived notion that their opinions matter more. That would get fans to follow suit more (theoretically) and give more perceived value to wins and losses.

the bloggers dont have legit power like that to the point where they can make that call, what're you even talkin about breh nikkas BEEN talkin about gettin a judgin system for ages

That's a pretty good point, but if I was a blogger, I'd be willing to do this cuz it's good for networking whether thats a fellow blogger, magazine ppl, website ppl etc etc. Dudes wouldn't exactly be giving super in-depth reviews in these reviews cuz I'm sure fans couldn't stomach a long review at the end of a battle. Just put a judges name and youtube or twitter as they're talking and that's promo for their own channels where they blog about whatever with less limitations.

I wouldn't mind seeing DNA battle Real Deal tbh. Only nikkas left for him on URL is nikkas that Clips battled already (Tay Roc, TODD, Verb, Serius, he bout to get O-Red, shyt nikka even battled Con) so that kinda kills the matchups, plus Real does good on the main stage and DNA's better battles is against GT/KOTD nikkas. Still think Real Deal would 3-0 though
