Smack should do some sort of loyalty bonus where as guys who book with URL X percentage of their battles for the year get a kickback

Or some sort of incentive... Trying to lowball guys and make them exclusive to one poorly managed league isn't going to work and isn't sustainable

I get the idea, but smack needs to go another route to make this work

nah breh, i see it like this, if them nikkas from the previous PG class aint have to sign no contract to get battles and build their names up then why the hell is URL blackballin new PG dudes for not signin contracts, shyt is fukked up no matter how you try to spin it imo

I feel you on that but my issue is with him using current top tier battlers as his reference point. He's not saying "the last PG class didn't have to sign exclusivity contracts ", he's saying "the top tier battlers don't have to sign contracts, why do I? " which in turn implies that he considers himself on the same pedestal as them. IMO, he's not so the argument he's using is a moot point.

Only a fool(Ah Di Boom) would sign an exclusive deal with Smack. These dudes would be broke as fukk if they all had to depend on Smack/URL for bookings. And it doesn't make any sense for a nikka that battles as much as Myers to be held down in one league.
I think Smack Is just trying to low ball and hold nikkas back.

^reminds me, dont like how battle rap is headed. It's all for entertainment (WWE) these battlers getting paid to battle win or lose. I miss the hunger from like fight klub where nikkas saw the guap they would win if they won and chances for a deal, loser went home empty handed.

It's the opposite. I take it as Clips, Verb, etc battle in different leagues and it doesn't hurt the URL brand. They come back and sell out venues and get views. Myers isn't as known, not top tier, doesn't cost as much to book, so why sign him to an exclusive deal? It makes no sense to lose a Lux/Hollow battle to a different league but force an upstart to stay put. All those guys signed and aren't even on cards consistently. Danny didn't even come up through the PG's. He owes more to KOTD then Smack.

I don't think its smart for established names. No way should Danny, Dizaster, Charron, Pat Stay, etc. have to sign to come to URL for a battle here and there. That's stupid and deprives the culture. New nikkas, sure, but not the vets from other places.

URL is dumb as fukk for blackballing Big k and Myers dudes are bigger stars than their whole PG class look at all the top tier opponents myers is getting soon (verb, clips, math) and Big K is a star on the rise. youre handing them to KOTD.

Am I the only one that finds it dumb that Danny Myers mentioned Verb, DNA, Clips & Magic? As far as work that they've put in, they're miles ahead of him and have earned the right to be free agents. They've all got drawing power that Myers doesn't so obviously URL aren't gonna lock them out from battling on their league since they're guaranteed views from any battle they put those guys in.

This is why I pretty much dislike the current PG class. It's like they want everything the top tiers have after only a year on the forefront.
