URL needs competition in the worst way. Just off the simple fact that maybe it'll force Smack to treat this shyt like he cares about it. Not saying that Smack doesn't care, but if he had the work ethic of any of these battle leagues....

:wow:

But when the companys mantra is RNT what can you do?

Them brehs have work ethic, its just that there whole thing is keepin their shyt selective and exclusive.

how am I stupid for not comprehending the nonsensical way that you score battles? :beli:

you can't judge battles, something that you can only rate subjectively, the same way you judge boxing, something that you can clearly rate objectively. A knockout in boxing means the fight ends immediately...there is no equivalent in a rap battle short of a fight breaking out or a crowd rushing the stage (and even there, the battle doesn't necessarily end). A knockdown in boxing means the opposing fighter was hit with such damage that he fell and potentially could've lost the fight. In a "sport" where rappers go one at a time, how do you qualify what is a knockdown and what isn't?

Judging battles under boxing rules has always sounded retarded, and is usually unfairly exploited by people who want an excuse to give their favorites a win. I've seen nikkas use boxing scores to give a nikka a 10-7 round, and win the entire battle strictly off of that one round. Does that make sense to you?

At the end of the day, battlers go into it KNOWING full well how many rounds there are, and that you have to win two out of three. If you put all your good shyt in one round, but closely lose the next two...you lost plain and simple. All this knockdown/near knockout shyt is retarded
I say you're stupid because until this post you didn't choose to address the premise of my post, but chose to address only the boxing analogy, as if you yourself have never listened to someone's first round like God Damn, he just murdered this nikka, I dont know if the opponent can come back from this. I definitely wouldn't believe you of you said you never said that. My equivalent of being "almost KO'd". You chose to focus on that term instead of attacking my real point which is message board tactics that I dont really engage in as you can see by my post count. But really never addressed how someone can be completely destroyed in round 1, but slightly edge someone in round 2 and you call the match even at that point?

Ness aint great either but I thought he would at least beat DNA

That just means you must not watch battles or understand battle rapping. No way in hell Ness had a chance, he's not a traditional battle rapper in the new age sense. He would probably be better with a beat on...

Rex ain't KILL Verb but he won convincingly

And yeah Lux went crazy but he spit different. He had metaphors but he was more rapping rapping and he was breaking down Calicoe's life and his father's life and how they not real nikkas and compared them to like social activist. It was crazy you gotta see it.

"How you got all that tongue but can't rap a lick?"

Listen, I get that...and it's solid strategy and business planning. But all too often it's done at the expense of the fans he's trying to market to, and it doesn't have to be that way. How you have the most popular and competitive battle league, but you putting shyt out with no real schedule (except RNT) in low quality audio & video? How is this acceptable?

And the shyt extends into the actual events themselves. You promote your shyt for months in advance...can't get the shyt started on time, can't set up bouts in a timely fashion which causes events to go longer than promoted, and overall turn people off from even wanting to show up to the shyts.

Only way a nikka like me would ever attend a Smack event is IF he was able to get an event set up at the Garden. But the way this nikka handles business, I highly doubt that would ever happen

We're not talkin bout Rex, Ill, Surf or sumbody like that we're talkin about DNA. This is the exact type of battler Ness would have a chance against. DNA aint that good lyrically and he's a boring performer. He was just rappin to his tooth last battle in prolly the worst battle in URL history

I'm pretty sure the majority of the damage is from Bill falling on his face on the concrete more than the punch.

And yeah he's small, but they said Bill collector is too. They said he looks tall on the screen, but he's kinda short and he's scrawny as fukk.

Nah... BC not a little ni66a... He tall but the ni66a is not frail...

I wondering why no one has asked the obvious question... After Bill got dropped and got back up WHAT DID HE DO?
